New Job

New Job is the process of inputting a new Ink Consumption Record (ICR), in the ISI OD program.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Begin by selecting the JOBS tab from the ISI OD window.
  2. Click on the NEW JOB icon.
    • A new window opens up as an Ink Consumption Record (ICR)
  3. Select the PRESS from the highlighted dropdown menu.
  4. Input the JOB NUMBER and hit enter.
  5. Input the JOB NAME and hit enter.
  6. Input the number of IMPRESSIONS and hit enter.
  7. Take the cursor to the STOCK dialogue box and input the substrate.
  8. Move to the NOTES box to add any needed information and hit enter.
  9. To enter the ink consumption select any of the ADD buttons in the ICR.
    • A new ADD INK window opens.
    • The PRESS and JOB NUMBER are auto-populated.
  10. In the CODE box, input the formula number and hit enter.
  11. Input the BATCH NUMBER and hit enter.
  12. The DATE is auto-populated, hit enter.
  13. Input the POUNDS (LBS) delivered to press and hit enter.
  14. Input the pounds RETURNED from press and hit enter.
  15. Repeat steps 10-14 until all the ink and coatings consumed on the job are recorded.
  16. If you make an error, highlight the incorrect item in the list and hit the MINUS button.
  17. Once completed, close the ADD INK window.
  18. Now you can Print, Invoice ICR, or Invoice Job.
  19. Close the ICR and click save.
